Remembering our friend and colleague ~ Nick Vannucci ~

This Wednesday, Nov 9th, the Senior Center is honoring Nick. This will just be a gathering of folks who want to share stories, give hugs and just be together to remember what a great soul he was. He will be forever missed!

Please RSVP to attend. 707.829.2440.
We have been getting lots of questions regarding donations in Nick's honor. If you wish to donate, you can do so here and in the comments section, you can leave a message "In Memory Of". Thank you for all of your kind words and support during this difficult time.

Nick was the manager of The Legacy resale shop and operating manager for our Harvest Café. He brought over 30 years of retail experience, a culinary certificate and food safety certification among other educational and certification programs. He was an honored staff person at the Senior Center since 2013. Nick held The Legacy and the Harvest Café to the highest levels of service and value. He was a mentor to staff and volunteers alike, creating amazing work teams with allegiance to the Senior Center’s mission and vision. Nick valued his staff and volunteers incredibly, knowing it was through them that service to the community happened. We will miss Nick tremendously.  But we will carry on.

Nick had many plans for The Legacy shop and Harvest Cafe that he fortunately communicated to us.  We are absolutely fired up and committed to forwarding his vision. There is not a staff person or volunteer today that wiped tears with one hand while clasping hands with the other in a teamwork spirit to carry on Nick’s legacy through work and commitment to forwarding what the Sebastopol Area Senior Center has to offer.
