To help us better serve the needs of the entire senior community, the Sebastopol Area Senior Center (501(c)(3) nonprofit will instate the following Policies:

Pet Policy

We love pets, too, and know that most of our members have pets. Inside the Sebastopol Area Senior Center and The Legacy, we have a “no pets” policy, only allowing service animals into our buildings. If you have a service animal, we will need to ask if you are bringing the animal in due to a disability and what tasks the animal is trained to perform. Please read our full policy below, and if you have questions, contact us at the Center.

Senior Center Registration Policies

Class Policies:

Thank you for registering for your class or group at the Senior Center! Classes are a hot commodity here, so to ensure that we can accommodate as many participants as possible, please note the following:

Arrive Early: Classes will start on time. If you arrive late or do not show up, your space will be given to someone waiting. For example, if a class is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m., we will allow people waiting to enter the class at 3:31 p.m.

Plan for Parking and Checking In: Parking can be challenging, so please allow extra time to park, chat with friends, and check in for your class.

All participants and guests must check in at the front desk before class. If you know you are running late, let us know in advance so we do not give away your spot. We've noticed that some participants register but don't attend, which means we have to turn away others who are eager to join. To help us serve everyone better, please keep these gentle reminders in mind:

Advance Registration: To secure your spot, please register ahead of time. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Please leave plenty of time for parking and checking in. If you know you will be late, please give us a call.

Refund Policy: We can't refund you in the original payment method. We'll only refund to your wallet if the above conditions are met.

Day Trip Cancellation Policy:

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations on Day Trips unless we can fill your spot. No changes or cancellations can be accommodated within 24 hours of the trip date.

Scholarships:

If you have been awarded a scholarship, no credits are able to be accommodated.
