Free Rides Program

A Volunteer Driver Transportation program

Losing the ability to drive is a challenge many of us will face. The Sebastopol Area Senior Center has been providing much-needed rides through our Volunteer Driver Transportation Program since 2008.  Volunteers drive West Sonoma County residents, 60 years and better, to medical, social service, and shopping appointments. This program is in partnership with the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging. Volunteers receive training on scheduling software and are free to choose how often and when they provide rides.

To request a ride or sign up to be a volunteer, please contact Aubri Lane, SASC’s Transportation Coordinator, at (707) 827-8429
