Insurgent Writers

Description: The Insurgent Writers welcome the participation of all writers, regardless of experience or genre (prose, poetry, songs, commentary, plays, et al). In weekly in-person meetings at the Senior Center we share, offer respectful, candid feedback, and encourage each other's writing, whether it be a novice’s first poem or a pro’s latest screenplay. All members bring regular weekly writings to the group and provide personal insights about the other members’ offerings.
In order to manage meeting time, and to allow each person to be heard, writing samples are limited to two double-spaced pages or less. Inquiries about attending/ participating as part of the group may be addressed to balance@mindspring.com
