Free Rides
In partnership with the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging, our dedicated volunteers provide free rides for West Sonoma County residents aged 60 and better. Whether it’s a drive to a medical appointment or the grocery store, or a trishaw ride down the Joe Rodata Trail, we help our seniors get where they need to go — and where they want to go — safely and reliably.
Call us seven days in advance to request a ride: 707-829-2440
The Sebastopol Area Senior Center’s Free Rides program also includes our Cycling Without Age Program (AKA Trishaw) designed to get seniors out in nature on a three-wheeled bike, piloted by trained volunteers.
Request a ride
If you are 60 and older, live in West Sonoma County, and need help getting to medical, social service, or shopping appointments, complete and return the Rider Packet, and call us to book a ride. All rides are free and based on volunteer availability.

Volunteer to drive
If you want to volunteer for the SASC Free Rides Program, please fill out the application. All volunteers must pass a background check.
You can choose the days you wish to drive, and we can match you to a local elder who needs a ride.

“I always feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. I also feel an affinity with the drivers, which makes each ride special and memorable.”
