Kay Warren

She Married to Jerry Warren and moved to California in 1962 and lived in Marin County where she worked acute units, then supervised the nursing staff. When the children arrived, she taught nursing. In 1981 she switched interests and joined that staff of a local adult day health care program for seniors. And it's been seniors ever since. Ten years in home health care, then a short one year retirement, then in the year 2000 she joined Friends House in Santa Rosa working as administrative nurse and social worker. In Marin, she worked closely with Whistlestop, coordinating food and transportation services for our day care clients, so she has some knowledge of how a senior center functions. She is a mother of five terrific adult children and grandmother of three.
